EPDM Closed Cell Foam Introduction
Closed-cell sponge rubber contains balloon-like cells. It can prevent the passage of these substances at low pressures. Sponge rubber provides better cushioning than solid rubber. But it can become over-compressed so that seal failure results.
Sponge rubber is available in different durometers. Seashore Closed-cell sponge rubber in 25 ±5 duro as standard or per request. It is satisfied with most of the sealing requirements. As one of the EPDM rubber series, it also has anti-weathering, ozone resistance, noise-proof, dust-proof, abrasion resistance, tear-resistance and etc.
